Dacor Burner Not Lighting
A gas burner that will not light divides cleanly at the first observation: does it click. A burner that clicks is receiving spark and is failing to ignite gas; a burner that does not click is not being told to spark at all. Those are two different faults with almost no overlap.

It clicks but will not light
Start with the burner cap. It has to sit square and fully seated on the base, and a cap that has been put back a few degrees out after cleaning will click all day without lighting. Next, the ports — the small openings around the burner rim — which block with spillover and carbon. A stiff brush and a pin will clear them; nothing softer will. Then the electrode itself, which must be dry and clean: a wet well after a spill or a wash is one of the most common reasons a burner sparks and does not catch, and it clears with time and air rather than with a repair.
It does not click at all
No spark on one burner while others spark points at the switch behind that knob or its wiring. No spark on any burner points at the spark module, its supply, or the earth the module needs to work against. That is service territory rather than kitchen-table territory.
It lights and will not stay lit
A burner that catches and dies when the knob is released is a flame-supervision problem: the device that proves a flame is present is not being satisfied, so the gas is being shut off correctly. Usually the sensing element is coated or out of the flame path. Correct behaviour from a safety device, in other words, responding to a component that needs cleaning or replacing.
The line not to cross
Cleaning caps, clearing ports and drying a well are homeowner tasks. Anything involving the gas supply, an orifice, a valve or a conversion between natural gas and propane is for a licensed gas fitter, and if you can smell gas at any point, stop and read the gas-smell page linked below before doing anything else.
